I began work on a new business idea of mine. This included extensive research to confirm if my beliefs that it could succeed were true or not. As it turns out I was right this business does make sense and the timing is perfect!
I licensed my new business, Mall of the Internet, LLC.
The Mall of the Internet had 100+ stores in it (including it’s own and several
other niche stores of mine). Towards the end of March I quit my job to fully focus on getting this
business up and running. Later in March I began the Facebook and Instagram advertising
and updated the Mall’s Linkedin Profile. I officially opened the Mall March 31, 2017.
Search engine and directory site submissions (including Google) began.
YouTube advertising began. I Started working on the Mall’s Pinterest page. I launched the Mall’s first video on Facebook and Instagram (shown below):
I started the Malls blog.
An online review site (The Review Is In) reviewed the Mall and gave it an overall rating of 4 out of 5 stars! I created the Mall’s 2nd video.
The Mall doubled in size to 200+ stores. I created the malls 3rd video. I also created a video to encourage entrepreneurs to add their stores to the mall.
The Mall’s Christmas Holiday video ad was released.
The Mall increased in size to 300+ stores. This is three times the size it was when it first opened only 12 months prior!
The Mall was rapidly closing in on 400 stores. As of June 16th we had 375 stores!
Four more ads were created to better focus on different times of the year. All of the Mall’s videos can be found on our You Tube channel and also on the Mall’s own website.
400 + stores are now in the mall.
Almost at 500 stores (approximately 480 stores).
I changed the layout of website slightly to make it easier on the eyes.
500+ stores are now in the Mall!
New lower pricing to allow more store owners to be able to afford to be in the mall.
